How can I repost a video iv posted acouple years back? I'd like to put it back up to the viewed videos

Having now uploaded a few videos, I have had several deleted as duplicate. Nowhere on xHamster is there a duplicate. Some share nearly identical names (and one or two the same name) but are totally different.

Thank you for the feedback - our reviewers army is constantly working on the content to be improved and to omit the unnecessary duplication.

Repeated videos are sometime the only way newer members will ever get to see a vid posted several years ago.

can I as a user point out..sometimes we RE upload because when something's not been displayed, or stuck in the 'waiting-but-is-it' queue...we have no idea if ever gonna upload so we RE upload?? i.e. sometimes we may yes duplicate uploads of pics or a video? ALSO bear in mind as lots point out, sometimes a RE upload is due to being BETTER than the orig?? if something's duplicated maybe send an inbox reminder say to the user..."YOU HAVE DUPLICATED so and so..are you sure you want duplicates , if not please delete one?" instead of only allowing one load up ever..that's very annoying on certain other sites too that it's sometimes something really great you want to share..but are told this has already been added. SO?? let us take off the orig then???

As someone has pointed out not all repeats are identical. Some are longer/better quality. Simply deleting all but the first instance of a particular video might not be for the best. I've found on a number of occasions multiple versions of the same thing and the first isn't always the best.

obvious reason for this occuring...is the 5k friend limit.that's wayyy too low.!! i.e. open a 2nd, 3rd profile..have to reupload yr vids dont ya!!! OBVIOUS!! i.e. if friend limit was unlimited..there'd BE NO REPEATED VIDEO UPLOADS.

Your anti repost thing flags reposts that are to get the fucking video uploaded in the first place when you claim it's watermarked and it either isn't, or is rare content with a very tiny watermark that doesn't interfere with the video or refer to anything current. You're losing out on great content because you don't consider what's actually being posted in context.

Who gives a shit if a video or picture is uploaded more than once? This is a porn site where people come for a few minutes to jerk off then go on with their lives again. I don't care if the video is posted 2 times or 10 times. I'm only going to look at one of them, and if I set it as a favorite, I don't want it deleted because some idiot is pissed that he posted it first or whatever. So fucking stupid. Get over it.

CREATE A BUTTON TO CLICK ON REPORT DUPLICATED VIDEOS,SOOO MANY OF THE SAME VIDEOS SHARED SOOOO MANY FUCKING TIMES,BE MORE PROFESIONAL XHAMSTER,EVEN IF YOU CANT WITH YOURE SMALL MENTAL CAPACITY

thats the MOD/ADMINS jobs when we report duplicated videos to delete them,thats why the report button is there but should have more options to it,like 1 for reporting illegal underagegirls sharing,so much of that crap on xhamster and duplicated videos AND photos.

How is an uploader to know that his video has been posted by someone earlier on ?
I edit my videos and remove bad parts, like camera shake, boring repititive scenes, excessive zoom, jerky panning, etc.I also edit out violent or unpleasant scenes. How can a video be considered a repost if it is a much improved version, one fifth the length of the original ?

the site NEED to create an option that tells us who approved and deleted our videos/photos (username) and for what reason,if they were not approved

arghhh that problem is on EVERY porn tube sites,not just xhamster and YES,sooo many of the SAME videos/photos are shared sooo many times,its just anoying and it takes ALOT of space on the site and im sure it cost xhamster alot more a month because of this B.S,just stop being lazy and delete the repeated stuff,and when we flag do the job already
