Please don't add a scrolling watermark to video uploads
it appears xhamster has adopted a new policy of adding scrolling text to new video uploads. This means that after a minute or so into the video, a message slowly crawls across the video stating THIS VIDEO WAS UPLOADED TO XHAMSTER.COM
This is very distracting and annoying. Surely it is not necessary. Anybody who wants to 'steal' the video will crop it off anyway. The moving text spoils the enjoyment of watching the video and is just not classy! It brings xhamster down to the level of its tackier rivals.
Please consider dropping this bad idea. If you must watermark videos, then consider a better way such as having a translucent xhamster logo appear subtley in a corner of the screen for a short duration instead.

Watermarks will be kept on the videos due to the content protection. Modifications of their appearance are possible though.

yeah that scrolling watermarks is the same crap well known from xvideos - that kills all the creativity from some value uploaders!
they bring through the unique & exclusive stuff a hundred thousend new users p.e. via google to this very nice place!!!
xhamster is still different from other porntubes because xhamster has sexy pics too and maybe soon also (much needed) theme groups generated with user favorites.
dear xhamster boss:please think about your strategy - xhamster is different because here we have a real community especially in germany/middle europe - here are hot camgirls & ladies - cool paysite advertising uploader - private uploader - a very good combination - the community can grow up strong when you make the right steps - only my thoughts about the future of the hamster.
