Pornstar tags

Create an optional field when uploading videos / pictures that allows the user to input the pornstars names if known. I feel this will greatly allow for increased searchability and take away the need for people to ask who he/she is. Also if you could make it so that if the pornstars name is unknown at the time of upload, that any user could add the name at a later point, by way of a one-click edit, just like you would rate or favourite an item.

    you can't use real names of pornstars in comment section or labels; there are paid searchers out there that look for this and file copy right claims

    the site NEED to create an option that tells us who approved and deleted our videos/photos (username) and for what reason,if they were not approved

    Although if it was done that way and the names were edited into the video itself somehow, then it would completely defeat the point of the idea - none of the names would be able to be indexed or searched

    not a good idea since this is how videos are taken down, name appears either in comments or the description of the video!
    Best thing is to edit a video and insert a name, that way cannot be tracked by companies ant the requested to xhamster for delete!

    I run across the problem of trying to find a specific movie clip when not knowing the name
    of the movie or the stars in them, Xvideos has a pornstar index and shows video clips
    of most/some of vids they done. This sure would make Xhamster great and a lot of us
    would do the hamster dance !(grin)

    i think this is a really, really good idea - it's often very difficult to find something or someone specific.

    One way to implement this without it turning into Utter Tag Chaos would be to have a place for any user to recommend a tag for a video and a pool of moderators to approve them. I'd do it, and I'm sure there are many others who would be willing to do the same.

    Although, some sort of pornstar database could be implemented somehow, and then it would be more so a one-click edit / tag by way of a list box or something along those lines.

    Ideally it would be more helpful to have anyone who knows the actresses/actors in the video to be able to edit it, but I see the problem in that as well. So it would probably be beneficial to have it only when the person uploads the vid/pic.

    If you have the one click edit in place do you mean the edit is for the person that uploaded the vid/pic? that would be ok but not for anyone to edit the vid/pic. You could have people clicking the edit button and just tying anything in.
