Please return to the portrait format avatar for profile pictures and GIF's! The circular format does not work at all!
Please restore the portrait rectangular format for avatars, pictures and GIF's, and include some sizing mechanism so that it can be corrected after it's uploaded. I recently re-uploaded mine and found it only showed the belly button when rendered to the site!
