Hello. I'm a content producer and work for a studio and so I have a bit of experience around the web elsewhere also. But that is irrelevant, more or less. Point of my saying that is; on most other adult websites the added optional ability to translate video titles and/or descriptions into one or more languages is offered.

I planned to suggest this idea before even seeing the prior posts and complaints here about XHamster translations. I'm assuming you do this yourself already? But judging by all the negative comments and feedback, the translations are not being done well. It may even hurt your search engine results. This is not really one of those "bad translations are better than no translations" type of cases. I also speak Spanish and many of your automated (I'm assuming Google) translations can sometimes seem spammy or make no sense at all which would actually lessen search result ranks rather than help them.

It may not seem like much but letting the uploaders do their own translations would be a great perk for the users and XHamster both. Native speakers vs auto translation? I think the winner is obvious. I have a large Latino audience so being able to translate into Spanish would be a big help. And those translations - from my experience elsewhere (believe it or not) can make the difference between 10,000 views and 100,000 views.

I didn't appreciate the potential in translations until I forgot to add a few on other websites. BIG difference.

I hope you decide to eventually allow for users to do this. XHamster is one of my favorite and one of the best communities. The potential is very real. I just wish you would introduce some of the more typically found common and useful features that other websites include because they are just very obvious tools to employ.
