A way to see who likes and/or dislikes your photos/videos
It's great to see something gets more and more likes, but it would be great to see exactly who likes (or dislikes) a photo or video. It would really help the interaction. You could contact someone who likes a picture to thank them for instance.

Gave it 3 votes but lets face it, XHamster changes nothing unless it can make them more money. Everything else is just a side show for them.
If someone dislikes my content, though shit. They can look at something else. You gotta have a thick skin to post on any site and I don't give a fuck if someone doesn't like what I post. It's their problem not mine. Still the dislike button serves no purpose but to discourage people who post content.
I seriously doubt if Xhamster looks at these suggestions anyway. There are many good ones that are totally ignored of put into an endless period of "under review" or "planned" and nothing ever gets done. Unfortunately I got a feeling that Xhamster won't wake up until it's too late.

Yes, Brenda and I know a "V meltdown" when we see one. But V's anger at a site that allows vandals to rampage around and stir up trouble is understandable.
She's seriously pissed off with it, and so are other people too.
Including me. And including Brenda. Let's hope xHamster get their shit together... pronto!

I think you should do away with the 'thumbs Down' marker on all galleries as it is a strong disincentive for uploaders to put in the relentless hours of preparatory work required. Those who abuse this facility are normally disgruntled individuals who have been banned from commenting because of abusive or objectionable comments made previously. My view has always been that it is better just to comment positively on the work you do like and ignore what you don't appreciate.
We can continue to highlight spammers and report objectionable racist comment--JUST WITHDRAW THE THUMBS DOWN FACILITY. -

I think being able to see who likes your post would be very nice

I enjoy this site tremendously and I have been enjoying posting and sharing my content for all for while now.
Until recently, my content has been down voted and I needed to make my profile for "friends only". This goes against my belief that porn on this site is for all to share and view.
Negative criticism I can accept but this tool is used as a vendetta. I have seen beautiful pictures and great videos being down voted for nothing. One can understand if the video or pic is of a poor quality but there are very few of those examples.
May I make a few suggestions:
The "dislike" button be removed.
Or the voting system be removed.
Or we are allowed to see who makes the votes.
This is tantamount to building a great home and standing back and watching vandals demolish the fruits of your labour. To upload does take up time, effort and cost.I enjoy this site tremendously and would like to continue supporting it by being an active supporter and uploader but something need to be done to fix this problem
Please do fix this as this situation is becoming disheartening.

I would love to know who dislikes me videos! I put a lot time in filming then posting them for everyone to enjoy.. If this feature was available I wouldn't have to locked 3/4's of my content for friends only, I could just block that one user who disrupts our close community...

If we ALL work together towards a common goal, we can make this a better place... That is if the fucktards at xHam see it our way ??
The way it is now, xHam has created complete and total chaos... A never ending war between people who would normally be the best of friends, if the truth were to be known.
Vosh, I have successfully rallied troops on NBN to get this crap changed there, and it worked.
I am one of the biggest advocates for fairness in voting, so you really need to understand that I'm NOT the one causing you all this grief... As I said, it's someone in your own list creating all this hatred between us, and it has to stop. If I'm such a troll, then why am I the most favorited user in the history of NBN.
That didn't happen by accident, and if I was indeed a troll, I doubt I would have that spot secured
with the next closest user over 100 faves behind me.You know I'm a cool chick, just like I know you are as well. I'm going to tell you one last time.
I would NEVER down vote your stuff.. I know all too well how it feels, so why would I wish that on others.... As I said on my page....As is, xHam is unworthy of my image.FIX IT, OR FUCK OFF n DIE, X-SHAM

I agree with the previous comment. It's not often that I publicly agree with Vosh, but I do for this issue. Picture voting wars stir up more trouble than it's worth. And the dark cloud to which Vosh refers has affected me as well, sometimes.

I am CONSTANTLY falsely accused of down voting a certain users pics here. This idea sure would help me in this situation. In fact, I've completely stopped posting my pics until this little snafu is taken care of. If in fact I did post pics, this person would most deffo attack them with a fake profile or two as soon as they saw them. >>>>FIX THIS PROBLEM XHAM<<<<

I agree, what's with all the thumb down votes in the GIFs section. someone out there is just giving thumbs down on all of them.Something needs to be done here makes not to want to post anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When a person goes to vote, they must be logged in, so you are already doing a verification to the database. Capture that data. Then if a person mouses over either vote selection, let them see who voted how.
If this option were available to paying customers only, I would sign up NOW. It is frustrating neither knowing those that view and like NOR those that are just haters.
I would LOVE to be able to block the users that don't like my stuff to save them AND ME a lot of frustration!!! -

I banned someone because of his racist attitude. Now all of a sudden, every photo I post gets a thumbs down. At least make it possible so that people banned from your profile can not vote on your content.

Within one hour, over 5 galleries with 167,000 views here is what I started with for approval percentages:
95/98/100/99/100
And now I have this:
62/61/74/66/78
And the only reason I have that high of a rating is because I know I will get hit by ONE SINGLE downvoter and as a result, like each picture in each gallery. If I didn't do that, the ratings would really suck.
Up to you guys, but if you want quality content (check out my galleries please) then you need to address this issue in some form or another.
This sucks that you allow one single person to hit gallery after gallery and downvote every picture. As a meaningful contributor to this site I do believe I deserve the right to see who downvotes my galleries, one after another, covering a course of over 8 months.

This is very frustrating to me as well. As of right now I have new galleries up, aboug 110K views. 100%, 99% 100% ratings. It is just a matter of time before someone comes through and downvotes all the pictures, just like they do with every single gallery I post. It is harassment plain and simple. It would really be nice to see who does it. I'm guessing they would not be doing this to my galleries if I could see who it was. And yes, it is a single person doing this. The galleries each get hit within a matter of an hour or so.

The dislike button would basically have no use because people would just start dislike wars with whoever didn't like a picture, for instance. It's a good idea to have an option to enable or disable your visibility. Not everyone likes extra attention.
