My idea is that you don't be lazy mouth-breathers. At least give a three or four word explanation for why you deleted a gallery. Some of your users actually follow your rules and take their time creating this content. Giving a basic explanation is Website Administration 101. I got paid a decent wage to administrate a literature site for years (I'm guessing you're all volunteers who don't give a damn). Communication is key unless you want to drive away quality users as you did in this case.
