Turn HD Off / Optional switch to low quality mode
There is a large amount of amateur footage that really does not need to be HD quality but since they have been edited to include a web address in the corner most have very high pixel density and this get the HD stamp and bandwidth. I propose all HD uploads should also have a low quality encoding so people like me with shitty broadband can have a better viewing expereance.

Definitely for this, to allow users to choose the quality of the videos they're watching instead of it being automatic.
