Enable "exact match" in search bar &/& Better results/Library/Category filtering options
Simple Form:
Your new "impossible to force exact match" in the search bar via " " or a toggle box is incredibly annoying. The exclusion box actually somewhat kinda works sometimes, but it is useless when you just want only results that have BOTH!!! tags and want to exclude results that only fit 1 criteria. Unless there is some obvious way that i am missing to tell either box to filter things that don't match or posses ALL words/tags in the search criteria? If not, then we need to posses that ability either at the onset of a search via the universally known symbol coding for almost all search bars on this planet, or a toggle box that tells the bar to require all tags/words exist on the file or on the title, last but worst the ability to FOLLOW UP search. IE search a tag/term/go to a category, then use tags search or filters to pair down easily. If you refuse to implement this 25 year old proven system used in some form by nearly every search engine, you need to create some ACTUAL useful after search filtering that has basic functions.
As far as i know, there is no way to run 1 search, then further search only inside those results, or search in a person's library or inside a preset channel so you can get to whatever it is you fancy efficiently. So, taking this basic function out of the bar entirely, resulted in just ADDING steps and limitations to searching that haven't existed since 1998. That is almost 25 years of if it ain't broke wisdom for ya. Vastly improve filters OR give us some search agency. The current predication tailoring system does a fine job at predicting and curating results IF you are looking for 1 word only or have the time to randomly scroll through a disorganized pile of AN ENTIRE category. So, please add exact match options, provide USEFUL filtering options pre and post search, or re-invent the wheel and implement a "tags" system at the very least so you can search tags and ignore the video name entirely and do all sorts of workarounds to replace what has been a core feature of bars for decades for a reason.
TL;DR
It is almost 2022, almost everyone on planet earth has used the internet, most of which has streamed OR searched for and bought things on the internet. Easily 99.9999999999999% have watched some form of streaming service. Since day one, and literally every day since, NO ONE on earth prefers 'best match' unless they are in a hurry, and even then, if they do, they are...sad.
The reason best match, ranked, commented, viewed results are useless is precisely because of how much padding and filler happens with auto play and very weak and disappointing filtering controls. The lack of agency to be precise when you want too (for me 50-75% of the time) is incredibly frustrating and overshadows the improvements you made to suggestions and predictions. Though, no matter how good a new thing is, if the literal core box on your site, that handles, i dunno, almost 100% of all traffic, is unable to do a pre trade school level programing function that allows a person to indicate, via text symbols or a simple toggle, that they would like an EXACT match only OR all the words regardless of order on any and all results. After all, we are using search most times because we are after something specifically and are aware of the nearly useless after the fact filtering options. God forbid anyone dreams of combining 2 words together to mix things up during their 'leisure' time without adding realizing they are adding extra results into the 1000s.
So, an inherently and fundamentally flawed system since its application to most things digital, "relevance/'best match' search results and content filtering," will forever remain flawed no matter what you do as long as humans are human. The issue is the flaws are made much much worse given less pre search agency or post search options and sorting. Turns out many of these basic functions we all take for granted everyday in databases were hammered out and most solutions existed in database and online computing since the 1970s, when the internet was used for nothing more than electronic messages between labs.
What the overwhelmingly vast majority of humans today can't stand is, is what other people like/viewed/commented on outside of 1 or 2 hits on a viral thing, IF ANY. After that, we all move on if we weren't able to avoid the shiny appeal in the first place. We all just want some basic agency and efficient use of our time. So, since ratings and views and comment numbers are inherently flawed due to the fact humans suck in general, especially en masse. So, the glaring need present in the new search algo/system era is we desperately require more agency on the end user side. Currently the new system is in a feedback loop contributing to making itself worse. The lack of these basic pre search or post search filtering options haven't been missing from even the most basic search engine programming since 1990s era internet.
In the end we need exact match options during the search as something we can type or toggle or we need something we can, after the fact, sort results as such. If not possible, please AT LEAST when viewing results or scanning through a library, allow more...preferably much much more...USEFUL filtering tools. They can be very basic even, the current setup is closer to not good that it is toward ideal. The only 1 column at a time system is dated and frustrating, some filters ONLY work with some columns selected, the system would improve a long way just being check boxes with a few options, use 1 or them all. The only one filter at a time system has never been a good one on any site or program or platform.
2 reasons this issue is pertinent:
1)
Most content creators have moved to pay per view and subscription sites as their main. What followed that YEARS ago is half if not almost all indy creators and the majority of mainstream pornstars libraries are filled with useless 10-15-30 second "trailers" in the main videos section because many are too busy, too daft, too unconcerned, or realize literally everyone ignores anything in the trailers section unless they are amped up to spend some money. Of course if they are looking for that, then they will hop on those other sites directly for that fix. Why no main tube site absorbed one these services or, ya know, copied some notes into their system is beyond me. People love convenience, and a 1-stop-shop would be something people would sacrifice real human dollars in profit if the creator and user side accessibility kept up with the tech that came out in 1998 (google), 2009 (omegle), & 2013 (patreon). Sure the tech and internet infrastructure wasn't there yet, but the writing was on the wall pretty clearly that interactivity was the next big thing in porn consumption...

Was actually considering upgrading to the premium version of the site when my other subscription ends, but you've really gotta overhaul the search and results filtering and library filtering for it to be worth the coin to make the switch.
Anyway, Most people avoid sub 5 minute videos generally, whenever possible, or anything labeled trailer. Unless of course their kink is being teased, than that's their thing and they are living their best life lately this day in age. So, in addition to adding an EXACT MATCH option to search results, will you PLEASE allow us to sort by things like length, creator, model, & tags, etc...simultaneously...EVERYWHERE on the site?
Speaking of time, it feels way past time for more precise & better fractioned time scaling IE (-5, @5, 10, 20, @40, 40+). Again, please allow multiple things at once to be toggled when searching or filtering. Just asking we join the mid 2000s and allow filters to be "add on" possible. IE say you want several words, tags, or filters to be present on each result of a batch. Let's allow that. Regardless of if you think of it before or want to FILTER the results after because there are 10,000 hits or only 5 hits that matched. Alternatively, being able to search INSIDE of results and libraries and categories is really a functional workaround to most of these QoL things. Vastly improved filters are however needed if you won't allow us to pre-cull results and pair those down manually by simply allowing us some form of exact match.
