It would be beneficial to see profiles of people who request friendship, so that the profile you see when they are requesting friendship = the profile you would see if you were friends. Often you don't get to see that the people requesting friendship often have content shown only to friends, thus denying them friendship if you prefer to only befriend people with content or favorites.
