I've talked to a dozen or so friends who I've cammed with in the general rooms back before the change. Everyone is fed up and disappointed, looking for alternative sites. Far as I can tell not one word of explanation from the admins. Big mistake, admin. You are driving people away. Maybe you'll make more money but you'll lose lots of traffic.

this is driving loads of us away. I have been looking at other sites since you removed this function.

My opinion is too that the freecams should be available again.

Almost every time I entered xHam, clicked cams to see if some friend of mine was there, and sometimes watched some pro cam.
No more, now cams don't exist for me.
Bring free cams back, please!

I also was a regular amateur broadcaster and chatted with many people about shared interests. VERY disappointed that I am now cut off unless I give my REAL photo, ID etc to Xhamster - It was the anonymous nature of broadcasting that allowed be to be open and honest. Chaturbate is the only alternative but for some reason the viewers there are far less sophisticated that is the case on this site.

What I say here is more than likely a waste of print, but have to say something.
The free cam was a way out of the closet for me, and maybe others as well. It was great
I am a cd and it was great to buy new things, wear them and have other say how much they loved what I was wearing, it was exciting, but now i have to be a pro model.
To bad money got in the way of a great thing for people like me and others who like to express their self's in any way they like
Was a great feeling, felt like I was free from the closet

I am not a pro model and don't want to make any money. I just want to have fun like every one. I agree this is bullshit and not good for this site to take the general broadcasting of cam away.

I don't see how CB is running Live Cams. CB has far more rules than xH does, CB has mods (who are assholes, but they have them), and CB has exhibitionists while we no longer do. But I'll agree with one thing, xH has slowly been taken over by token slaves in the past few years. There are almost no semi-pro American models left (i.e., ones who do it for extra cash and not as their sole living). They were driven out, and given the lack of response to issues raised by their best customers, I'd say they want it that way. Too bad the robot token whores are dictating how to run the site and not the paying customers.

Have to admit....very very disappointed that general members are not allowed to cam anymore. This a fantastic site where people can get to know each other through their pics, videos and through chat. Cams are a vital part of the site and there are loads of members who used to cam for the fun of it and not just to get money out of others. Hoping very much that the people who run Xhamster have a re-think and bring back the fun to this excellent site.

Chartubate is a shitty ass company and Xhamster needs to kick them as the cams administrators. Your motto is "JUST PORN, NO BULLSHIT". Chartubate is all about bullshit and shitty service and dumb ass rules for the cam models. It is not a community based web organization like XHamster used to be. The models from Chartubate are joining this community and constantly beg for money, are not friendly, are mainly Eastern European, do not do as they advertise, disconnect once they reach their goal without ever giving the show they promised, are rude and are not XHamster quality. If XHamster does not fix the issues, a lot of us who have been here you years will absolutely leave this service, free or not, and go elsewhere.
