I am having trouble understanding this move? The amateur models created traffic and provided various types of shows. I also believe that the amateur shows normally have more energy because the model or models genuinely want to be there, they are not just sitting around wait on a certain number of tips before they will do something.

I have been a model in the Transsexual section for over a year and had some great times and had a real following of friends. As it stands now I am going to be forced to move my show to another site which is a shame since I genuinely enjoyed Xhamster. I will still frequent your site for the videos but I honestly believe this move will hurt traffic on your site.

@newslutcd, all I can say is that I've caught at least 20 apparently underage cammers in 2 1/2 years. And I can't even count the number of videos. A few of the thugs used the same video over and over again. Love, self

Seems xhamster has a lil bit of revolt on here...I wondered why it had seemed so inactive...Personally, I didn't go into the cam rooms much, but when I did I almost ALWAYS made a new friend. I LOVED that part. And it was fun to see some of my friend performing and chat with them. You have to be careful how you treat your loyal base, Xhamster. I have seen and been a member of several sites that have enacted bad ideas like this, and have seen their membership dwindle by as much as 75%. You probably need to re-think this.

I had my profile closed once. I had more viewers than the token gurls for a couple days and next thing you know my account was closed.

Caressa, that's not it. There weren't all that many exhibitionists--well except for the men. But now there are fewer pro models too, and fewer users, since they are leaving by the dozens. xHam has dropped 10 points in the world ranking for number of website visits. No one will tell me anything, but I can think of 3 real reasons they might have done it: 1) it stops underage cammers, with which we had a problem; 2) stops people playing spam videos with which we had a big problem; and 3) the biggest reason of all, the token whores were probably complaining that the free cammers were getting more views than they were, LOL.

Seems xham solved the problem of their servers being under strain and causing 'laggy' or 'choppy' transmission by dis-allowing all the many amateurs to broadcast. I do'nt think they had the money to 'improve' their servers, whatever, it does not heal the hurt to the many amateurs who enjoyed 'giving their pleasure for free.
The consensus of opinion is that the old 'format' of 'anyone can broadcast' with guests names visible and coloured text for sexual status was the favourite and it was this interaction that made xham a lively and fun site.
There should also be a category for cross dressers as distinct from trannies.
I am seeing some amateurs who were xham cammers now on cam4 and chaturbate.
I have only popped in to xham sparingly and disappointingly.

Yeah I honestly think they will start losing people, making a pro cams bit is almost the same as scrapping the cams section entirely as most people aren't interested in that. People selling themselves on cam doesnt hold the attraction that amateur cams does, the latter is people playing for the fun of it and using it as a way of getting involved with the rest of the community on there. If I ever am interested in going on cam I now go to different sites, i find myself dropping in here to check mail and then leaving again - so i won't even bother with that. Please bring them back!
