The video category, "Transsexuals" should be changed to "Transgender" and Crossdressers should be moved to that category.
Transgender is a more general term than Transsexual and is along the lines of "Straight" and "Gay." Once that is changed, the sub category, "Crossdresser" should be moved from the Gay category to the Transgender category. Gays are mainly interested in men that look like men. Crossdressers attempt to emulate women and fit better in the Transgender category than the Gay category. Plus, most men attracted to crossdressers identifythemselves as straight and would not initially look for crossdressers in the Gay category but rather the Transgender category.
Transsexuals changed to Transgender. Cross-dressing tags are relevant to all sexual orientation, you can find relevant content in Straight/Gay or Transgender orientation.

I agree Ally, I am attracted to and luv to look at crossdressers and it's very hard to find on here. I notice many other sites do have separate category for crossdressers which makes it easy to admire them.

Generally I feel the same way you do Geri regarding labels. Yet as far as a porn site goes, labels are necessary so that people can easily find the porn they like and avoid the porn they find distasteful. This is why this category change would be good. Imagine a gay guy trying to find hot looking guys and seeing someone that looks like a girl instead (except for the cock). Then imagine someone trying to find a chick with a dick and missing a whole sub category because crossdressers are hidden in the gay category and not in a transgender category.
BTW according to the latest revision of the DSM-5 it is no longer considered a disorder for those who identify with a gender different than the one they were assigned at birth. Only if they are distressed by their identification is it diagnosed as a dysphoria and not a disorder. Here is a good article about it http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/06/04/gender-dysphoria-dsm-5_n_3385287.html

Hi Ally, thnx for posting this category asking for replys. My opinion is,Why do ones need labels, we are humans, right, but as society is, that tends to be what happens. So my opinion and mine only is, yes, it is very complex. As for the nutcase below that said there is a big difference between crossdressers and transgender, you need to know, transgender does NOT have anything to do with a persons appearance, transgender has to do with a feeling inside and individual known as sexual dysphoria. Can crossdressers be transgender, of course they can, as with any other person with 2 legs that have a sexual identity disorder, but then again, you have crossdressers that only dress for the fetish which actually does not include them as transgender. But i agree with crossdresser being removed from gay category, a crossdresser label doesnt mean your gay, or even bi.

This tends to be a very complex and as such misunderstood topic. As Caprica pointed out, earlier "Transgender"" is an umbrella term recognized by gender experts for transsexuals, cross-dressers (transvestites), . . ., and people who identify as neither female nor male and/or as neither a man or as a woman.
While many have their own thoughts as to who or who isn't included in their little group, if you do the research, this is how the professionals define it. Xhamster should stick to it and not invent their own definition.

I agree about 80%
I know quite a few CDs that are completely straight. I also have a Pre-Op Transgendered friend that hates to be lumped in with TVs and CDs, as it is completely different. There should be a group for actual transgendered people and another category for TV/CD. Dressing and Being are two different things :)

Placing crossdressers in aTransgender category would make it easier to find crossdressers. This would result in more clicks and more ad revenue for Xhamster. The advertisers would be happy because they would get more ad exposures. Everybody wins. This is a no-brainer.

I agree on the grounds that crossdressing is, to a certain degree, a form of trangender, as it is a release of a side of which is not the physical, & as in most cases, mental gender identity.

Agree. To the idiot that said there is no difference between a Transgender and a crossdresser...well, you are an idiot, go read a book.

Virtually every gender expert places crossdressers in the category of trangenders.
The University of California Berkley Gender Equality Research Center, defines the term "Transgerder" as: "An umbrella term for transsexuals, cross-dressers (transvestites), transgenderists, gender queers, and people who identify as neither female nor male and/or as neither a man or as a woman."

Totally agree except I'm openly gay and have always had a strong attraction to transgendered since my first gurl friend ladyboy when I was stationed in Singapore. Have made love with many "butch" men who were CD and totally transformed when dresssed as women.
