I would like to comment on this. I feel that before their can be an IP ban for potential spammers, Hamster should have a process in place to give the wrongly accused a chance to clear their name. I agree that spammers should have an account suspended, however, I have seen, an been one of the members that were targeted by a small group of high level members, and "retired". I was cleared of wrong doing, but if I would have been flat out banded, I would have had a hard time finding the email links for support staff, and the links to friends, that helped me get through the terrible event. I Propose that an email be sent to the email that the member opened the account with, that has a detailed long form for appeal of Hamsters decision to ban. The "retired" member would have the ability to explain why they should not have been "retired" in addition, Hamster should send a snapshot, or a plausible reason why the termination took place. I was completely clueless when I was hit blindsided. In short, their should be a burden of proof that wrong doing was done, not the word of a select group of high ranking members that are running loose around Hamster selecting whose life they will ruin on a particular day.
