This should definitely be implemented. I'd like to verify myself but only if the photo/video stays completely private.

So many people would verify and it'd keep the site cleaner. Too bad they aren't going to do it.

Me too preferred my verification photo should be private.
And very important thing is, a unmarried single male made a verified couple profile. And he is fooling other couples.
A couple verification should be both male and female.

It's now been in the planning stage for 38 months.

I'd gladly put a verification pic up but it absolutely cannot be public. Yea. I'm an exhibitionist and don't, at all, mind people watching me orgasm, see me naked and hard and cumming, but for all the obvious, typical reasons I cannot show my face here. Just ain't gonna happen, ever. For that reason I will not submit a verification pic, ever, unless I was assured it would never be seen publicly.

This has now been 'planned' for 18 months and counting. I'll gladly contribute or comment on stuff i think will make XH a better site, but I resent wasting my time going to the hassle of doing so, when I'm just wasting my time.
There are threads open in your blog that have been for a few years and obviously are no longer being looked at so why not spend a bit of time closing stuff that isn't relevant, and acting on the stuff that is?

I agree that verification pictures should have a "keep private" option. I was introduced to this site by a co-worker, however, I do not want him to know my wife and I are on here. 5 minutes after he found us, he would have her pictures and that information all over the company we work for. Therefore we cannot verify.

I think this must have been cancelled or forgotten about by xhamster, been 8 months and not a peep.

I agree. Me and my husband have no problem verifying our profile to those in charge of x-hamster security, but would prefer not to put our faces out there to public view yet. How long before we know when it is an option?
