Great idea.

Please imeplement this. I have been blocked by people because they think I am ignoring them when in fact I am simply not at my computer or in another tab for quite some time and don't see the messages. Most other sites to it, xhamster should too.

This idea, needs to by-pass the sites enforced 8 minutes delay in changing a users status from online to offline when they logout.

I think this feature will save some grief. I received a very negative message today (including cursing) because I did not reply to a message in a timely manner. I don't webcam, so I do not have the same sense of urgency to monitor messages as others may have.

I am a cam model on here so guys always assume when I am on Ill be on cam it sucks

This is a better alternative to the 'invisible' login thread.

Give users the ability to turn off/on the online status display.

Or better yet, the ability to set ANY text there based on login status. :)
i.e. online: yes, but not free to chat.

I agree with you totally, it gets annoying!

I really hope to see this happen soon. Sometimes, I want to be able to log on and not be bothered or talk to just a few guys without being bombarded with messages. An "appear online to" option may be pushing it, but just to throw that idea out...
