    The image quality isn't degraded slightly, it's shocking. Most pictures have most of the detail stripped out and luminance levels evened out across the picture. It can only be to make the file size smaller, which makes the storage costs less.

    The fact that two years down the line nothing has changed and there's no response from xH says nothing ever will change. I don't bother with xHamster at all, it's just not worth it when you see the state of the pictures. I came here via a Google for "xhamster image quality". If more people went elsewhere they'd see it in their advertising revenues and realise that saving costs is costing them views.
